Euro 2024: Netherlands reach semi-finals with victory over Turkey

Dutch come from behind to set up clash with England

The Netherlands came from behind to beat Turkey 3-2 in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals and book their place in the semi-finals, where they will face England.

The Dutch fell behind to a Burak Yilmaz penalty in the 15th minute, but they equalised through Memphis Depay just before half-time. Depay then put the Netherlands ahead in the 54th minute, and Denzel Dumfries made it 3-1 in the 73rd minute.

Turkey pulled one back through Cengiz Under in the 79th minute, but the Netherlands held on to secure their place in the last four.

The Netherlands will now face England in the semi-finals on Wednesday, July 12, at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.
