England fight back to secure dramatic 3-2 victory over the Netherlands

England came from behind to beat the Netherlands 3-2 in their UEFA Women's Nations League match on Thursday.

The Lionesses trailed 2-1 at half-time but goals from Rachel Daly and Alessia Russo secured the victory.

The victory was a much-needed boost for England, who had lost their opening match of the tournament to Belgium. They now have three points from two games and are second in the group.

The Netherlands took the lead in the 18th minute through Jill Roord. England equalized in the 26th minute through Lauren James, but the Dutch regained the lead in the 39th minute through Lieke Martens.

England came out fighting in the second half and Daly equalized in the 58th minute. Russo then scored the winning goal in the 74th minute.

The victory was a great result for England and will give them confidence going into their next match against Switzerland on Sunday.
