Tottenham advance in FA Cup thanks to Porro wonder goal
Pedro Porro's stunning 25-yard strike sealed a 1-0 victory for Tottenham Hotspur over Burnley in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.
The Spanish right-back curled a superb effort into the top corner from distance in the second half to give Antonio Conte's side a hard-fought win at Turf Moor.
Tottenham, who are fourth in the Premier League, were made to work hard by a Burnley side who are fighting for promotion from the Championship.
The Clarets had the better chances in the first half, with Jay Rodriguez and Nathan Tella both going close.
But Tottenham improved after the break and Porro's moment of magic earned them a place in the fourth round.
The draw for the fourth round will be made on Monday evening.
